Inclusive sustainable livelihoods, building on the expertise of local communities, is a critical way to provide the poor with a way out of poverty. Many of these sources of livelihoods, for example, sewing machines, agri processing machines, integrated rice hullers, power hammers, blacksmith blowers, are assets that the poor can rely on to create the appropriate social safety nets.
